It\u2019s the voluntary halting of the light-speed hamster wheel dictated in rules of highly effective  blogging. It is an imposition of asynchronous temporalities, where we do not type faster to keep up with the computer, where the speed of retrieval does not necessitate the same pace of consumption, where good and bad works are created in their own time.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Das Manifest des langsamen Bloggens stammt schon aus dem Jahr 2006. Das Blog, <a href=\"http:\/\/web.mac.com\/holycola\/iWeb\/SlowBlog\/Slow%20Blog\/607E1A7A-AB39-44D1-BBEC-033958252F42.html\">in dem es ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde<\/a>, hat es auch \u00fcberzeugend umgesetzt. Seit Dezember 2006 ist dort kein Text mehr erschienen.<\/p>\n<p>Aber wie es sich ziemt f\u00fcr ein Manifest, dass die Langsamkeit zum Wesentlichen erhebt, sickert die Botschaft gem\u00e4chlich durch die Bloglandschaft, und ist zum Beispiel bei <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.oup.com\/2008\/11\/slow_blog\/\">David Perlmutter<\/a> angekommen.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Perhaps there is an analogy to food here. The \u201cslow food\u201d movement comprises people who advocate rejection of our industrialized agriculture and our all-you-can-eat fast food socio-culture. They say, Eat slowly; eat for taste as well as for health; know what\u2019s inside the food you are eating; trust the sources of the food; and most of all try to eat local. Could the same be applied to the world of OSIM? Call this a slow blog manifesto.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Das steht nat\u00fcrlich alles im Zeichen der Idee, dass Blogs der bessere Journalismus sein sollen, oder das bessere Feuilleton, oder was auch immer an g\u00e4ngigen Formen noch so verbessert werden k\u00f6nnte. Nun ist ja grunds\u00e4tzlich nichts dagegen einzuwenden, Recherche, Nachdenken, Noch-Mal-\u00dcberschlafen das Wort zu reden. Tats\u00e4chlich geh\u00f6ren zu meinen liebsten Blogs einige, die sich nur selten zu Wort melden.<\/p>\n<p>Aber der Witz an Blogs, Twitter und allen verwandten und derivierten Formen der Kommunikation und des Publizierens sollte doch eigentlich ein anderer sein: N\u00e4mlich die Emanzipation von der Zeit als ma\u00dfgebendem Faktor f\u00fcr das Schreiben und Ver\u00f6ffentlichen. Jeden Tag eine Zeitung, jede Woche ein Nachrichtenmagazin voll schreiben zu m\u00fcssen, ist der Fluch des Journalismus.
